Değerli İslâm âlimi İmam Beyhaki’nin tüm eserlerini Türk okuyucusuyla buluşturma projesini öncelikle hacimli olanları neşrederek gerçekleştirdik. Bunları sırasıyla Şuabu’l-îmân, es-Sünenü’l-kebîr, Delâilu’n-nübüvve ve Ma’rifetü’s-sünen vel-âsâr olarak toplam 42 cilt halinde okuyucuların kullanımına sunduk.

Kendinden sonraki ulemanın çalışmalarını kaynak olarak gösterdiği ve İslami ilimlerin hadis, fıkıh ve kelam alanlarında eserler vermiş olan Beyhakî’nin saydıklarımız dışındaki küçük hacimli kitaplarını ise takım halinde neşretmek amacıyla sürdürdüğümüz çalışmalar neticesinde bu büyük külliyatı tam olarak yayınlama imkânına kavuştuk.

7 cilt olarak ortaya çıkan bu çalışma, Beyhakî’nin çeşitli konu ve ilim dallarında kaleme aldığı toplam 16 kitap ve kitapçığını biraraya getirmektedir: İslam inancının temel konuları üzerinde kaleme aldığı biri oldukça hacimli olan altı kitap; İslam’ın ahlâki ve mânevi değerleri konusunda üç kitap; dualar ve faziletler konusunda iki kitap; İmam Şâfiî ve onun mezhebini savunma amacıyla kaleme aldığı biri oldukça hacimli iki kitap; diğer muhtelif konu başlıkları hakkında yazdığı üç kitapçık.


YAYINCI ÖNSÖZÜ

Allah'a hamd eder, ondan bizlere her alanda yol göstermesini dileriz. O'nun risâlet görevini ümmetine tebliğ eden Hz. Peygamber (sallallahu aleyhi vesellem)'e, onu âl ve ashâbına da namütenahi salâtü selamlar olsun.

İslam'ı ayakta tutan en önemli konulardan biri kuşkusuz doğru itikad yani akidedir. Cibril hadisinde meşhur olan inanç temelleri başta olmak üzere İslam inancının bazı konuları üzerinde çevresel ve siyasi faktörlerin de desteğiyle tarih içinde bir takım fikri saldırılar olmuş ve sapkın mezhepler ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu ümmetin önde gelen âlimleri de bunlara karşı İslam dinini korumak için çalışıp didinmişler ve bu yolda çeşitli eserler de vermek suretiyle çok önemli görevleri yerine getirmişlerdir.

Sünnete ve onun ışığında şekillenmiş doğru bilgiye erişimin sağlanmasına katkıda bulunmak gayesiyle biz de yayınevi olarak değerli İslam âlimi olan ve tüm eserlerini Türk okuyucusuyla buluşturma projesini gerçekleştirdiğimiz İmam Beyhakî'nin öncelikle hacimli eserlerinin neşrini gerçekleştirdik. Bunları sırasıyla Şuabu'l-îmân, es-Sünenü'l-Kebîr, Delâilu'n-nübüvve ve Ma'rifetü's-Sünen vel-âsâr olarak toplam 42 cilt olarak hadis okuyucularının kullanımına sunduk. Bu sunumda İslam'ın Kur'ân-ı Kerim'den sonra ikinci temel dayanağı olan Sünnetin ilk asılları ile Türk okuyucusunu buluşturmayı amaç edindiğimizden rivayet zincirine sahip her türlü metnin çevirisini Arapçasıyla birlikte okuyucuya aktarmayı düstur edindik.

Beyhakî'nin saydıklarımız dışındaki küçük hacimli eserlerini ise takım halinde neşretmek amacıyla sürdürdüğümüz çalışmalar neticesinde bu büyük külliyatı 7 cilt olarak kâmilen yayınlama imkânına kavuştuk. Bunlar kategorize edilmiş olarak aşağıda listelenmiştir:

YAZARI HAKKINDA

Ebû Bekr Ahmed b. Hüseyn b. Alî el-Beyhakî (öl. 458/1066) Muhaddis ve Şâfiî fakihi.

Şâban 384'te (Eylül 994) Nîşâbur'a bağlı Beyhak bölgesinin Hüsrevcird köyünde doğdu; bu sebeple Hüsrevcirdî nisbesiyle de anılır. Beyhak'ta büyüdü ve ilk tahsilini burada yaptı. On beş yaşında iken hadis okudu, daha sonra da fıkıh öğrenmeye başladı. Fıkıh ilminde hocası Ebu'l-Feth Nâsır b. Muhammed el-Mervezî'dir. Muhtelif hocalardan faydalanmak maksadıyla İsferâyin, Tûs, Hemedan, İsfahan, Rey, Nîşâbur, Bağdat, Küfe, Mekke gibi yerleri dolaştı. Hadisi diğer ilimlere tercih ederek sadece onunla meşgul olmaya başladı. Hadis ilminin en önemli meselelerini Hâkim en-Nîsâbûrî'den öğrendi ve hocaları içinde en çok ondan faydalandı. Diğer hocaları arasında muhaddis, kelâm ve fıkıh âlimi İbn Fûrek, zâhid ve vâiz Harguşî, fakih ve muhaddis İbn Mahmiş, mutasavvıf Ebû Abdirrahman es-Sülemî, Ebû Hâzım el-Abdûyî, muhaddis, fakih ve kelâm âlimi Ebû İshak Rükneddin İsferâyînî, muhaddis Ebû Zer el-Herevî, muhaddis ve fakih Berkanî, İmâmu'l-Haremeyn Cuveynî gibi meşhur âlimler bulunmaktadır. Tanınmış talebeleri arasında, şeyhu'l-kudât İbnu'l-Beyhakî diye bilinen oğlu İsmâil b. Ahmed, Hafîdu'l-Beyhakî diye anılan torunu Ubeydullah b. Muhammed, Mekke ve Medine fakihi muhaddis Furâvî, Horasanlı muhaddis Zâhir b. Tâhir, muhaddis Ebu'l-Meâlî Muhammed b. İsmâil el-Fârisî sayılabilir.

Beyhakî, 406 (1015-16) yılından itibaren eserlerini telif etmeye başladı. Hadis ilmindeki sağlam bilgisi ve güçlü hâfızasıyla kendini kabul ettirdi. Hadislerde mevcut gizli kusurların tesbiti ile birbirine zıtmış gibi görünen rivayetlerin uzlaştırılmasında ve hadislerin fıkhını kavramada devrinin otoritesi oldu. Nîşâburlu âlimler kitaplarını, özellikle Marifetü's-sünen okutmasını rica ettikleri için 441 (104-950) yılında bu maksatla Beyhak'tan Nîşâbur'a gitti.

Bu şehre sonraları iki defa daha geldi. Beyhakî fıkıh ve usûl-i fıkıh sahalarında da devrinin otoritelerinden biriydi. Mensubu bulunduğu Şâfiî fıkhının üstünlüğünü savundu ve bu alanda değerli eserler verdi. Bu sebepledir ki İmâmu'l-Haremeyn Cuveynî, her Şâfiî fakihinin İmam Şâfiî'ye minnet borcu olduğunu, ancak mezhebini ve görüşlerini müdafaa etmek için Beyhakî'nin kaleme aldığı eserler sebebiyle İmam Şâfiî'nin ona minnettar olması gerektiğini söyler (İbn Asâkir, s. 266). Gerçekten de Beyhakî'nin eserleri sayesinde Şâfiî fıkhı daha geniş bir muhite yayılma ve tutunma imkânı bulmuştur. Zehebî'ye göre, geniş ilmi ve âlimler arasındaki ihtilâflara olan derin vukufu sebebiyle kendi adına bir mezhep kurup ictihad etmeyi arzu etseydi bunu mükemmel bir şekilde başarabilirdi. Onun ilimdeki yerini tesbite çalışan otoriteler, hem hadis hem de fıkıhtaki üstün mevkiine ve Eş'arî kelâmındaki geniş bilgisine özellikle işaret ettikten sonra çeşitli ilimlere vâkıf olduğunu, daha önce benzeri görülmeyen eserler verdiğini ve 1000 cüzü bulan eserlerinin hacmi itibariyle de seleflerini geçtiğini belirtirler. Selçuklu Sultanı Tuğrul Bey zamanında (1040-1063) vezir Amîdulmülk'ün teşvikiyle Eş'arîler aleyhinde şiddetli bir takip başladığı zaman Eş'arî olması sebebiyle Beyhakî de İmam Kuşeyrî ve İmâmu'l-Haremeyn Cuveynî gibi yurdundan ayrılarak Mekke'ye sığındı.


Beyhakî 10 Cemâziyelevvel 458'de (9 Nisan 1066) Nîşâbur'da vefat etti. Cenazesi Beyhak'a nakledilerek doğduğu yer olan Hüsrevcird'de toprağa verildi. Beyhakî, dünya malına değer vermeyen zâhid bir âlimdi. İlim tahsili uğrunda ve hayatının daha sonraki devirlerinde çeşitli sıkıntılar çektiği halde bunlardan kimseye şikâyet etmezdi. Maddî imkânsızlık sebebiyle Tirmizî, Nesâî ve İbn Mâce'nin sünenlerine sahip olamadığı rivayet edilir. Hz. Peygamber'in ve ashabın örnek hayatını yaşamaya çalışırdı. Otuz yıl aralıksız oruç tuttuğu nakledilmektedir. İlmî tartışmalarda rakiplerine karşı son derece anlayışlı ve insaflı davranırdı.

Eserleri. Beyhakî bütün eserlerini muhaddislere has metotla her rivayetin senedini zikrederek yazmıştır. Mevzû (uydurma) olduğunu bildiği bir haberi kitaplarına almamayı prensip edinmiştir. Eserlerini şöyle sıralamak mümkündür:

A) Hadisle İlgili Olanlar.
1. es-Sünenü'l-kübrâ. es-Sünenü'l-kebîr diye de anılan eser diğer hadis kitaplarında bulunmayan pek çok hadisi, sahâbe ve tâbiîn kavlini muhtelif rivayetleriyle birlikte ihtiva etmekte olup fıkıh bablarına göre yapılan tertibinde Şâfiî fıkhı ön planda tutulmuştur. İbnü't-Türkmânî'nin Beyhakî tarafından yapılan hadis değerlendirmelerini yer 
yer tenkit ettiği ve bazı konularda açıklayıcı bilgiler verdiği el-Cevherü'n-nakîfı'r-reddi 'ale'l-Beyhakî adlı kitabıyla birlikte on cilt halinde basılmıştır (Haydarâbâd 1344-1355).
  1. el-Medhal ilâ Kitabi's-Sünen. es-Sünenü'l-kübrâ'ya giriş mahiyetindeki bu eser Muhammed Ziyâürrahmân el-A'zamî tarafından yayımlanmıştır (Kuveyt 1985). A'zamî eserin usûl-i hadîse dair olan birinci cüzünün kaybolduğunu belirtmektedir.
  2. Ma'rifetu's-sünen ve'l-âsâr. es-Sünen ve'l-âsâr veya Ma'rifetu'ş-Şâfiî li's-sünen ve'l-âsâr adlarıyla da bilinen kitap, Şâfiî fıkhının dayandığı hadisleri, sahâbe ve tâbiîn sözlerini ihtiva etmekte ve onların güvenilir olduğunu ispata çalışmaktadır. Tâceddin es-Sübkî, bir Şâfiî fakihinin yanında bu kitabın mutlaka bulunması gerektiğini söyler. Hanefî fakihi Ebû Câfer et-Tahâvî, Şerhu Me'âni'l-âsâr'mda bu esere çeşitli tenkitler yöneltmektedir. Brockelmann bu eserle es-Sünenü'l-kübrâ'mn aynı kitap olduğunu zannetmiştir (İA, II, 582). Dört ciltlik eserin I. cildi Ahmed Sakr tarafından neşredilmiştir (Kahire, ts.).
  3. es-Sünenü's-suğrâ. İki cilt hacmindeki eserin 392 varaktan ibaret olan 18. cüzü Topkapı Sarayı Müzesi Kütüphanesi'nde bulunmaktadır (III. Ahmed, no. 269). Brockelmann Ma'rijetü's-sünen ile bu eserin aynı kitap olduğunu ileri sürmüştür (GAL, I, 447; Suppl., II, 619).
  4. el-Kırâ'atu halfe'l-imâm. Namazda kıraatin zaruretine ve imama uyan kimselerin Kur'an okuması icap ettiğine dair hadislerle sahâbe ve tâbiîn sözlerinden 450'sini topladığı bu eser ilk olarak Hindistan'da basılmış (tarihsiz), daha sonra Muhammed Saîd b. Besyûnî Zağlûl tarafından yayımlanmıştır (Beyrut 1405/1984).
  5. Kitâbu Tahrîci ehâdîsi'l-Ümm. Eserin İrlanda'da (The Chester Beatty Library) bir nüshası, Kahire'de ise bu nüshanın mikro filmi bulunmaktadır (Brockelmann, GAL, I, 447; Suppl., II, 619; Şerif Nâyif, s. 50, dipnot 1).
  6. Fadâ'ilu'l-evkât. Receb, şâban, ramazan, şevvâl, zilhicce ve muharrem ayları ile cuma, pazartesi ve perşembe günlerinin fazileti ve her ay üç gün oruç tutmanın sevabına dair 307 rivayetin toplandığı eser Adnan Abdurrahman Mecid el-Kaysî tarafından Mekke'de yayımlanmıştır (1410/1990).
B) Akaidle İlgili Olanlar.
  1. el-Esmâ' ve's-sıfât. Eserde Allah Teâlâ'nın isimleri Kitap, Sünnet ve icmâa dayanılarak açıklanmış, bilinen doksan dokuz isminin dışında başka isimleri olduğu da gösterilmiştir. Çeşitli baskıları olan eser son defa İmâdüddin Ahmed Haydar tarafından iki cilt olarak neşredilmiştir (Beyrut 1405/1985).
  2. Delâ'ilü'n-nübüvve. Sahih rivayetlere dayanarak Hz. Muhammed'in herhangi bir insandan farklı taraflarını, peygamberliğini belirten yanlarını, mûcizelerini derlediği meşhur eseridir. Abdülmu'tî Kal'acî tarafından yedi cilt halinde yayımlanmıştır (Beyrut 1405/1985).
  3. Şuabu'l-îmân. el-Câmi'u'l-musannef fi beyâni şuabi'l-imân adıyla da anılan eserde, imanın altmış veya yetmiş küsur şubesi bulunduğunu belirten hadisten hareketle bunların nelerden ibaret olduğu âyet ve hadislerin yardımıyla tesbite çalışılmaktadır. Eser Ebû Hâcir Muhammed Saîd b. Besyûnî Zağlûl tarafından iki cildi fihrist olmak üzere dokuz cilt halinde yayımlanmıştır (Beyrut 1410/1990).
  4. el-İ'tikad ve'l-hidâye ilâ sebîli'r-reşâd. Müellif bu eserde âlemin sonradan yaratıldığına, onu yaratanın benzeri bulunmayan bir ilâh olduğuna, Allah'ın sıfatlarına, kader ve onunla ilgili olarak hidâyet, dalâlet, ecel, rızık gibi meselelere, kabir azabı, şefaat, ba's, hesâb, mizan, cennet ve cehennem gibi âhiret hallerine, sünnete sarılıp bid'attan kaçınmaya, ulu'l-emre itaate, Hz. Muhammed'in peygamber olduğunu ispata, evliyânın kerâmetleri, ashâb, Ehl-i beyt, Aşere-i mübeşşere ve dört halifeye dair selef akidesini âyet ve hadislerle ortaya koymaktadır. Eseri önce Ahmed Muhammed Mursî tahkik etmeden (Kahire 1380/1961), daha sonra da Ahmed İsâm el-Kâtib bazı notlarla (Kahire 1401/1981) yayımlamışlardır. Beyrut'taki Dâru'l-kutubi'l-ilmiyye eseri bir komisyona hazırlatarak neşretmiş (1404/ 1984), son olarak da Kemal Yûsuf el-Hût güvenilir bir yazmasıyla matbu nüshaları karşılaştırıp elde ettiği metni yayımlamıştır (Beyrut 1405/1985).
5.Kitâbu'l-Kazâ ve'l-kader. Eserin Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi'nde (Şehid Ali Paşa, no. 1498) 108 varak hacminde bir nüshası bulunmaktadır (ayrıca
bk. Brockelmann, GAL [Ar.], VI, 231). Ebu'l-Fidâ el-Eserî tarafından
 
yayımlanan el-Kazâ' ve'l-kader ise Şuabu'l-imân'ın konuyla ilgili bölümünün aynen neşrinden ibarettir.
6. nKitâbu'l-Ba's ve'n-nüşûr. Âmir Ahmed Haydar tarafından neşredilmiştir (Beyrut 1986).
7.İsbâtu azâbi'l-kabr (ve su'âli'l-melekeyn). Âyet, hadis ve selef âlimlerinin sözlerine dayanarak kabir azabının varlığını aklen ve dinen ispat ettiği bu eser Mustafa Saîd Hâlid tarafından yayımlanmıştır (Kahire 1986).
8.Kitâb fi hayâti'l-enbiyâ' fi kubûrihim. Kâtib Çelebi'nin Mâ verede fi hayâti'l-enbiyâ' (ve) ba'de vefâtihim adıyla zikrettiği ve 1000 meseleyi ihtiva
ettiğini söylediği
(Keşfü'z-zunûn, II, 1355) eserin Medine'de bir nüshası bulunmaktadır (Brockelmann, GAL Suppl., I, 619).

C) Ahlâkla İlgili Olanlar.

1.el-Âdâb. Ana babaya, akrabaya ve diğer insanlara yapılması gereken iyilikler, karşılıklı vazifeler, belli başlı kötü huylar ile nefsi bu huylardan
kurtarıp terbiye etmenin yolları ve diğer İslâmî edepler hakkında 1194 hadisin derlendiği eser Abdülkâdir Ahmed Atâ tarafından yayımlanmıştır (Beyrut 1406/1986).

2. ez-Zühdü'l-kebtr. Uzlet, dünyaya önem vermeme, ölüm gelip çatmadan önce hayatı değerlendirme gibi zühd ve takvâ ile ilgili
konulardaki hadisleri, muhtelif zâhid ve âlimlerin bu konudaki görüşleriniihtiva etmektedir. 989 rivayetin senedleriyle birlikte zikredildiği eseri
Âmir Ahmed Haydar yayımlamıştır (Beyrut 1408/1987).
el-Erba'ûne's-suğrâ. Allah'ın birliği, tövbe, nefsi murakabe, doğruluk, tevekkül, ihlâs, helâl kazanç, iyilik, merhamet, tevazu vb. kırk konuya dair 161 rivayetten meydana gelmektedir. Her konuda mükerrer senedlerle birlikte en az iki, en çok beş altı rivayet bulunmaktadır. Eser Ebû Hâcir Muhammed Saîd b. Besyûnî Zağlûl tarafından yayımlanmıştır (Beyrut 1407/1987). Keşfü'z-zunûn'da (I, 53) el-Erba'ûn fi'l-ahlâk adıyla zikredilen ve 100 hadis ihtiva ettiği belirtilen kitap da budur. Aynı konuda el-Erba'ûne'l-kübrâ adlı başka bir eserinin daha bulunduğu kaydedilmektedir.
ed-Da'avâtu'l-kebîr. Eserde Hz. Peygamber'in bizzat yaptığı veya sahâbîlerden birine öğrettiği dualar bir araya getirilmiştir. Tâceddin es-
Sübkî bu eserin bir benzerinin daha bulunmadığını yeminle söyler. Eserin yarısı olduğu belirtilen ve 260 hadisi ihtiva eden bir bölümü Bedr b. Abdillah el-Bedr tarafından rivayetler değerlendirilmek suretiyle yayımlanmıştır (Kuveyt 1409/1989). Kaynaklarda Beyhakî'nin bir de ed-Da'avâtu's-sağtr adlı eserinden söz edilmektedir.

D) Şâfiî Mezhebiyle İlgili Olanlar.

Menâkıbu'ş-Şâft'î. Kendisinden önce bu konuda on kadar eser yazılmış olmakla beraber Beyhakî'nin kitabı hepsinden daha mükemmeldir. Eserde Kureyş kabilesine mensup olan İmam Şâfiî'nin asâletine işaret ettikten sonra onun ikinci asrın müceddidi olduğunu, fıkıh, usûl-i fıkıh, hadis ve kelâm gibi dinî ilimlerdeki üstünlüğü yanında diğer ilimleri de bildiğini ifade etmekte, zühd ve takvâsını ve diğer faziletlerini dile getirmekte, ailesini ve önemli talebelerini zikretmektedir. Bu arada bazı hadislerde geçen "Kureyşli âlim" ifadesiyle İmam Şâfiî'nin kastedildiğini söyler (I, 26, 54). Bu yorumun doğruluğu bir yana esasen söz konusu hadisler de zayıftır. Eser Ahmed Sakr tarafından iki cilt halinde yayımlanmıştır (Kahire 1390-1391/1970-1971).
Beyânu hata'i men ahta'e ale'ş-Şâfi'î. Ma'rifetu's-sünen ve'l-âsâr'da İmam Şâfiî'nin kitaplarını rivayet edenlerin yaptığı yanlışları yeri geldikçe belirten müellif daha sonra bunları müstakil bir kitapta toplamıştır. Ayrıca İmam Şâfiî'nin bazı meselelerde isabetli hüküm vermediğine dair muhtelif kimseler tarafından ileri sürülen iddiaları da cevaplandırmıştır. Eser Halil Molla Hâtır (Riyad 1980) ve Şerif Nâyif Duays tarafından neşredilmiştir (Beyrut 1402/1983).
  1. el-Mebsût. Nusûsu'ş-Şâfi'î diye de bilinen eserde müellif İmam Şâfiî'ye ait fıkhî metinlerin tamamını toplamış ve bunları talebelerine
    okutmuştur. Bazı kaynaklarda bu kitabın üç cilt olduğu kaydedilirken
    Keşfü'z-zunûn'da (II, 1581-1582) el-Mebsût fi fürû'i'ş-Şâfi'iyye başlığı altında bu kitabın Beyhakî'nin en büyük ve en önemli eserlerinden biri olduğu, yirmi cilt hacminde bulunduğu söylenmekte, Nusûsu'ş-Şâfi'î
    başlığı altında ise (II, 1957) on ciltlik bir eser olduğu kaydedilmektedir. Eserin Bodleiana Kütüphanesi'nde bir nüshası bulunmaktadır (Brockelmann, GAL, I, 447).
 
  1. el-Hilâfıyyât beyne'ş-Şâfi'î ve Ebî Hanîfe. Kaynaklarda bu adla zikredilen, fıkıh bablarına göre tertip edilmiş eserin Üsküdar Hacı Selim Ağa Kütüphanesi'nde (no. 277-278) Kitâb fi beyânı ihtilâft'l-İmâmi'I-Hanejî ve'l-İmâmi'ş-Şâfi'î, Topkapı Sarayı Müzesi Kütüphanesi'nde de (III. Ahmed, no. 1154) Kitâbu'n-Nüket fı'l-mesâili'l-muhtelef fihâ beyne'ş-Şâfı'î ve beyne Ebî Hanîfe adlarını taşıyan birer nüshası bulunmaktadır. Sübkî bu eserin de kendi türünün ilki olduğunu, böyle bir kitabı ancak hem fıkhı, hem de hadisi iyi bilen birinin yazabileceğini söylemektedir.
  2. Ahkâmu'l-Kur'ân. Mecmû'âtu kelâtni'ş-Şâfı'îfi ahkâmi'l-Kur'ân adıyla da anılmaktadır. Abdülganî Abdülhâlik tarafından yayımlanmıştır (Beyrut 1395).
